What a wonderfully unique piece this is and in excellent
condition for it's 140 years. All the carvings are nearly
perfect, our pics really don't do them any justice. And,
the front drops open to reveal a nice semi-hidden storage
space. The lock was long gone so we installed a spring
hinge that's out of sight. So, all you need to a lightly tap
or push on the front apron and it drops down. This console
table would look ripping just about anywhere in any room
of the house. While those of you with a keen eye might
have spied that the legs are not original, however, they're
far from being new. The back splash is removable so it
makes moving / freighting safe and easy. Plus, like
everything we sell it's in super clean ready to use condition.
